Presidential
SC-06 is repped by former Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn. The seat is currently the state's only Democratic leaning district, and went for Harris by 23-ish points, largely thanks to its large Black population. Democrats pull most of their votes from the Columbia and Charleston areas, and Republicans from the whiter areas in between these two cities. Despite VRA lawsuits, the seat has remained in its approximate form for some time, though this might change if South Carolina elects to re-gerrymander the state's Congressional map
McCormick County is one of the few contexts in the US where Democrats win a majority of the county's land area, but lose the county. Trump carried this formerly competitive county by over 17 points, pulling his margins from the more densely-populated red precincts along the Savannah River. The last Presidential Democrat to carry the county was Barack Obama in 2012
SD 30 is a somewhat competitive seat in the state's portion of the Sandhills region. Trump won the district by 6 points, pulling most of his raw margin from the Horry County portion of the seat. Harris's numbers largely come from Florence, Dillon, and Marion, which are predominantly Black communities
