Sarpy County is a suburban county in the Omaha area, and is one of the bluest counties in the state. This being said, Trump won it by about 12 points in 2024. Harris carried a smattering of precincts between the main cities of Bellevue, Chalco, La Vista, and Papillion, and Trump's best areas were the outer rural communities

Thurston County used to frequently be one of the state's only blue counties, but the Trump era has changed things. Trump carried the county by 7 points in 2024, and Democrats last won it during the Obama administration. Harris carried the predominantly native communities along the Iowa border, and the Walthill precinct, but the communities in the west of the county put Trump over the line
